Fingerprint Impressions

Taking prints for our new collection of fingerprint jewellery has never been easier! For UK customers, if you request instructions, we will send you an inkpad and paper kit within one working day of placing your order. You can then send us back your fingerprints either by scanning them as a high-resolution JPEG and emailing them to us, or sending them to us through the post using our prepaid envelope. Alternatively, you can take your prints yourself at home without a kit using a soft pencil, clear Sellotape, and white paper, which allows us to receive your prints quicker. For international customers, you can take your fingerprints yourself using either an inkpad and paper or a soft pencil, clear Sellotape, and white paper. Hand & Footprint Impressions

For UK customers, you will be sent a special wipe which captures your hand or footprints onto a sensitised paper. This method was developed for use in maternity hospitals in America and is totally safe! Hand and footprints appear like magic on the paper, which you then send back to us. Of course, if you already have a print that you'd like to use, just take a clear copy and email or post it to us.

With some magic of our own, we miniaturise the hand or footprints to fit your chosen item of jewellery and recreate them as though they were imprinted directly into the silver!

 

How quickly will I receive the impression kit?

If your order is received by 3pm Monday to Thursday we will send your impression pack by 1st Class post the same day. Orders placed after 3pm or at weekends are sent the next working day.

 

Returning your prints

As soon as we receive the impressions back (we include a pre-paid envelope for your convenience) you will receive an email to let you know they have arrived safely and again at every stage whilst we make your jewellery. We believe it is important to keep you informed every step of the way. All of the jewellery is handcrafted in sterling silver and hand polished to the highest standard you will find.

Remember that we can reuse the impressions for future and multiple orders. All impressions are stored safely for 12 months, unless requested otherwise, so that you can re-order new items easily and without having to retake the fingerprint unless you want to. All impressions are destroyed routinely after 12 months, but if you would like yours back, for safe keeping, of course we can do this.

 

Professional Print-Taking Service

For those who prefer a professional touch, we offer an appointment service for taking fingerprints, handprints, and footprints. This service ensures high-quality prints with minimal hassle and is ideal for creating cherished keepsakes or for important official documents. Appointments are available at two locations, with different availability times. After placing your order, you will receive an invite to book an appointment for professional print-taking. This option guarantees precision and clarity, providing peace of mind that your prints will be perfect for your chosen items.
