After you order, we send a collection kit and instructions. We incorporate or enclose the ashes in the workshop, so you do not need to fill the finished piece yourself.

A small amount of ashes is placed inside a chamber in the jewellery. We fill and seal the chamber in our workshop as part of making your piece. Choose the finishing details offered with your design.

Do I need to fill the jewellery myself?
No. We incorporate or enclose the ashes in our workshop as part of making your piece. After you order, we send a collection kit and instructions to guide you.
How much do I need to send?
Only a small amount. Follow the instructions in the collection kit we send after you order. If you are unsure about anything, we are here to help.
How will I know my ashes have arrived?
We let you know when your ashes reach us, and again when making begins. Your order has its own reference number.
What happens to any unused ashes?
We return any ashes we do not use with your finished jewellery, along with the maker’s certificate.
What is the difference between the two making methods?
Our Secret Chamber designs hold ashes inside a chamber that we fill and seal. Ashes in Silver designs incorporate a small amount into the silver itself. See an example of each method.
Can an ashes ring be resized?
The Secret Chamber Ashes Ring cannot be resized after making. Its chamber is sealed by hand once filled, so getting the size right matters. We can help with professional ring sizing before work begins.
How long will my jewellery take?
Making time starts once we have your ashes and everything else needed for your piece, including sizing and personal details. Please check our current making times and allow for delivery. If you have a date in mind, talk to us before ordering.
Can you use a pet’s ashes?
Yes. Our pet ashes necklace is one option. If you have another design in mind, we would be happy to talk it through with you.
Can I wear my ashes jewellery every day?
Choose a design that suits the way you like to wear jewellery, and follow the care advice for its materials. Leather, silver and gold need different care. Our jewellery care guide will help you look after your piece.
Is ashes jewellery the same as cremation jewellery?
Cremation jewellery is another name for jewellery that holds a small amount of ashes. In our range, we either incorporate the ashes into silver or enclose them in a sealed chamber. If you would prefer a keepsake without ashes, explore our memorial jewellery.
