Enjoying your gold vermeil necklace

A helping hand before you choose
Choose your piece and select how you would like to supply your print when you order. For our ink-print designs, UK instructions and an ink-and-paper kit are sent when requested; you can also take your own print or choose an appointment where offered. International customers can follow our self-taken print instructions.

Is everything in this collection solid gold?
No. The rings are solid gold; the necklaces are gold vermeil, which is gold over sterling silver. Each product identifies its material.
Which gold colours and carats can I choose?
The ring designs have their own selections. Slender Solid Gold currently offers 9ct and 18ct yellow, rose and white gold. Open your chosen ring for its current choices and price.
How do I choose my ring size?
These rings cannot be resized after making. Follow our professional ring-sizing guide and let us help with the fit of the width you choose.
How should I care for gold vermeil?
Follow the finish-specific advice in our jewellery care guide. The gold surface can wear with use, so do not treat it as having the same wear characteristics as solid gold.
Can I use a fingerprint I already have?
Quite possibly. Talk to our team about the print you have and the piece you like. We’ll explain how to share a copy so we can check it. Keep irreplaceable originals safe; a photograph of a finger is not the same as a fingerprint on paper.
