A bracelet for the words that matter most. A line from your vows, the lyrics of your first dance, a favourite passage you keep coming back to. Choose one to three Chapter and Verse beads in any combination of wide and slim, deep-engraved into sterling silver and threaded onto a soft nappa leather strap.
The wide bead holds up to 200 characters across five lines of 40. The slim bead holds up to 80 characters across two lines of 40, enough for a name and a date or a short phrase to keep close. Optional spinning rings sit between the beads for styling, in polished sterling silver, polished silver bubble, or polished gold vermeil. More beads can be added over time, from the Story Beads collection.
Engraving
Each wide bead takes up to 200 characters, including spaces, across five lines of 40. Each slim bead takes up to 80 characters, across two lines of 40. Letters sit under 1mm tall, so we usually work in capitals to keep everything clear at that scale. Engraving runs around the bead with a small gap of around 4mm at the back where the line ends and begins. Six fonts to choose from, shown in the images above: Heirloom, Painter, Foundry, Studio, Verse and Press. If you'd prefer your own TrueType font, send the file to studio@morganandfrench.com and we'll do our best to use it.
Sizing
Our bracelets aren't adjustable, so an accurate measurement matters. Wrap a soft tape measure or a piece of string around your wrist bone, comfortably snug with no gaps. Mark where it overlaps and measure against a ruler. Then choose the fit you'd like:
Close fit, sits neatly against the wrist (+1.5cm) Standard fit, the everyday choice (+2cm) Relaxed fit, a little more space (+2.5cm)
Tell us your wrist measurement and your preferred fit, and we'll add the right amount of length. If you're unsure, Standard works well for most people.

We understand that some customers may wish to receive their order sooner, so we offer the option to bring your piece forward in your maker’s schedule. These choices affect when your jewellery is created, never the skill or attention devoted to it.
Priority 1 – Express Creation
When time matters, your piece is scheduled for immediate bench work with your maker, crafted ahead of their usual making order. This typically brings completion forward by around three to five days, giving you a noticeably earlier finish for special gifts, meaningful moments and occasions where you simply need your jewellery sooner.
This premium service adds a 40% uplift to the base price of your piece (excluding any optional add-ons), so you’re never charged extra for choosing to include additional details or elements. It is available on selected designs each day.
Standard Service – Made in Turn
Your jewellery is handcrafted with the same care and attention, created in the natural rhythm of your maker’s schedule once everything required is in place. The same skill, the same devotion - simply made in turn.
The Story Bracelet Collection
This piece is part of our Story Bracelet collection, a range of personalised leather, nappa and paracord bracelets built around Story Beads: small sterling silver charms each made to carry something specific to you.
A Story Bracelet begins with a strap and a personalised bead of your choosing. That might be a fingerprint, a hand or footprint, a dog's nose print, a hand-stamped name, a line of someone's handwriting, a longer inscription, or an ashes bead to keep a person close. Spinning rings in copper, silver or black silver sit between the beads as a styling accent.
The appeal is cumulative. More beads can be added at any point, now or years from now, and rearranged however you like. A bracelet that begins with one bead for a birthday or a new baby might, in time, gather several more, each marking something worth keeping. New chapters, new beads.

Care Guide
Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly.
To combat this, we are proud to offer an anti-tarnish service that you can easily add to your order. Our Rhodium Anti-Tarnish Plating Service ensures your cherished pieces retain their lustre and shine for as long as possible.
We recommend that you use a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly as part of your jewellery cleaning routine. You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming as metals can react with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine.
Never allow leather to get wet. Wet leather will stay damp inside and deteriorate from within, this will loosen the bond within the clasp and affect the strength and look of the leather.
As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be opened, damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials - although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
