Medical alert bracelets don’t have to be naff or boring! If you or a loved one needs to wear a medical alert bracelet, make sure it’s one you would proudly wear!
Our dark brown braided leather medical alert bracelet is a charming classic for any occasion.
Our medical alert bracelet comes with two expertly crafted sterling silver beads - one for your medical information and another with either the caduceus symbol (the internationally recognised symbol for medicine) or "MEDICAL ALERT" - the choice is yours! We present the silver beads on a dark brown braided leather bracelet and add 3 copper rings for styling.
Presented in a gift box.
You can have 100 characters of medical information on your medical information bead - 4 lines each with up to 25 characters per line (including spaces). We recommend your name, medical conditions, treatment considerations, allergies and at least one emergency contact number (ICE).
In an emergency, paramedics are trained to look for important information and we make sure your medical alert bracelet can be read quickly by deep engraving in a clear and modern font.
Our medical alert bracelets are handmade to order and can be made for any size wrist, including children's sizes.
Our medical alert bracelets are not adjustable so please ensure you choose your correct size. A easy way to measure your wrist size is to use a soft tape measure made of cloth. If you are without a soft tape measure, a piece of string or strip of paper wrapped around your wrist and marked and measured with a ruler works just as well. We recommend to add a little room for comfort (1.5-3cm is about right, depending on whether you like a snug or looser fit).
High quality fine braided bolo leather. Approximately 5mm thick.
Sterling silver beads. Medical information bead is 10mm wide. Caduceus / "MEDICAL ALERT" bead is 5mm or 10mm wide, depending on your preference.
Copper rings on either side of the silver beads.
The standard clasp is stainless steel with a magnetic closure that makes it easier to take the bracelet on and off with one hand. If you need a clasp without a magnet, for instance, if you have a heart pacemaker fitted, then you will want to order the locking clasp. However, without a magnet, it is more fiddly to put on single-handed.
Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly.
To combat this, we are proud to offer an anti-tarnish service that you can easily add to your order. Our Rhodium Anti-Tarnish Plating Service ensures your cherished pieces retain their lustre and shine for as long as possible. Simply visit this link to add this service to your order.
We recommend that you use a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly as part of your jewellery cleaning routine. You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming as metals can react with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine.
Never allow leather to get wet. Wet leather will stay damp inside and deteriorate from within, this will loosen the bond within the clasp and affect the strength and look of the leather.
As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be opened, damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials - although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
