What Happens After You Order

Taking Your Dog’s Nose Print: To create your personalised jewellery, we need a high-quality photo of your dog’s nose. Here’s how to ensure you capture the best image:

• Take the photo in natural light – this helps to highlight the intricate details of your dog's nose.
• Make sure the entire nose is visible and in focus. Avoid shadows or blurry areas, as we need a clear and detailed image to craft your unique piece.
• Use a high-resolution camera (your smartphone should work well as long as it's set to a high-quality setting).

Once you have the perfect shot, simply email it to us at studio@morganandfrench.com as a high-resolution JPEG. You can refer to the product images above to see the photo used for the product pictured.

Sizing

This bracelet is made to your chosen size and is not adjustable. Measure around your wrist bone with a soft tape measure, or use a strip of paper and measure it against a ruler. Keep it comfortably snug, without gaps or squeezing.

Select your actual wrist measurement, then choose your preferred fit. Please do not add extra length to the measurement yourself; we add the allowance for you:

• Close fit: we add 1.5cm.
• Standard fit: we add 2cm, our recommended everyday fit.
• Relaxed fit: we add 2.5cm.

For example, if your wrist measures 18cm, select 18cm and your preferred fit. If you need a size outside the listed options, choose Custom size and tell us your wrist measurement in Notes for the Maker.

• Wide 10mm Story Beads: 925 sterling silver featuring a detailed dog nose pattern.
• Leather: Available in premium braided leather or soft nappa leather, providing comfort and durability. Made to your chosen size. You can add more Story Beads over time.
• Clasp: A matt stainless steel magnetic clasp, allowing for easy one-handed operation when putting on or removing the bracelet.

We understand that some customers may wish to receive their order sooner, so we offer the option to bring your piece forward in your maker’s schedule. These choices affect when your jewellery is created, never the skill or attention devoted to it.

Priority 1 – Express Creation

When time matters, your piece is scheduled for immediate bench work with your maker, crafted ahead of their usual making order. This typically brings completion forward by around three to five days, giving you a noticeably earlier finish for special gifts, meaningful moments and occasions where you simply need your jewellery sooner.

This premium service adds a 40% uplift to the base price of your piece (excluding any optional add-ons), so you’re never charged extra for choosing to include additional details or elements. It is available on selected designs each day.

Standard Service – Made in Turn

Your jewellery is handcrafted with the same care and attention, created in the natural rhythm of your maker’s schedule once everything required is in place. The same skill, the same devotion - simply made in turn.

The Story Bracelet Collection

This piece is part of our Story Bracelet collection, a range of personalised leather, nappa and paracord bracelets built around Story Beads: small sterling silver charms each made to carry something specific to you.

A Story Bracelet begins with a strap and a personalised bead of your choosing. That might be a fingerprint, a hand or footprint, a dog's nose print, a hand-stamped name, a line of someone's handwriting, a longer inscription, or an ashes bead to keep a person close. Spinning rings in copper, silver or black silver sit between the beads as a styling accent.

The appeal is cumulative. More beads can be added at any point, now or years from now, and rearranged however you like. A bracelet that begins with one bead for a birthday or a new baby might, in time, gather several more, each marking something worth keeping. New chapters, new beads.

Care Guide

We want your jewellery to look beautiful for years to come. We recommend regular, gentle cleaning with a jeweller’s cloth suitable for your jewellery’s metal and finish. Follow the cloth’s instructions and use it only on suitable metal surfaces, avoiding leather and cord.

Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish. This is a natural process, but substances encountered in daily life can speed it up, including soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and the natural oils on our hands. Always remove your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming, as contact with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine can affect its finish.

To help protect against tarnish, we offer a Rhodium Anti-Tarnish Plating Service that you can add to your order. This protective finish helps your cherished pieces retain their lustre and shine for longer.

Keep leather and cord dry. Moisture can damage the material and weaken the bond securing it within the clasp, affecting its strength and appearance. Remove leather and cord jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping.

Leather may transfer colour, particularly when wet or damp. This can stain skin, clothing, bedding and upholstery, especially light-coloured fabrics. If leather becomes wet, remove the jewellery and allow it to dry naturally, keeping it away from fabrics while it dries. The same care applies to leather pouches and keyring holders.

As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when it arrives and let us know as soon as possible if it is damaged or faulty.

We provide a six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials. This additional guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Your statutory rights are unaffected and are not limited to the six-month guarantee period.
