We can handstamp lower and uppercase letters (a-Z), numbers (0-9) and these special characters ° & ? / ( ) ! " . , : ; ? * (★). Spaces and these characters count as one letter.
We also have 16 design stamps (see our images), including infinity, yin yang and footprints. All you need to do is enter our two letter ‘code’ when personalising your jewellery. Design stamps count as two letters.
For example, for the infinity stamp, type #I
Sizing
The aluminium bar is 6mm square and 40mm long.
Split ring is 10mm – two split rings are supplied.
The Control of Dogs Order 1992 states that ‘any dog in a public place should wear the name and address of the owner either inscribed on the collar or a name plate or disc attached to it.’
Made From
Aluminium bar.
Handmade
Your Pet Id Tag will be handmade to order for you & the personalisation will be hand stamped, letter by letter, using individual hand held steel stamps and a very heavy hammer. Hand stamping takes time to complete and the end result is very different to machine aligned & engraved lettering (hurrah!) and that's why we do it; we want to achieve a look that is unique, quirky & clearly created by a human hand.
So, if you if you like perfect imperfection, hand stamped is for you!
However, if you like all your letters in a perfect line we do offer machine engraved items, but not this one; this one is just too special!
Care Guide
We want your jewellery to look beautiful for years to come, which is why we recommend using a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly as part of your cleaning routine.
Aluminium is a lightweight, silver-coloured, non-toxic metal that won't tarnish, making it perfect for everyday wear.
Metals such as copper, brass, bronze and silver are prone to tarnish. This oxidising process is a natural occurrence, but some substances in our daily lives will speed it up, such as soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands. You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming, as metals can react with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine.
As with all jewellery, chains, links and clasps can be opened, damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials, although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
