Once we have your print, we'll handcraft and despatch your jewellery in approximately 9 working days. Need it sooner? See Priority Service. Tell me more
A sterling silver golf marker, handcrafted with the unique fingerprint of someone you love.
We recreate one finger or thumbprint across the front of the marker, preserving its individual loops, whorls and tiny details in the silver. A single initial can also be added to the front, making the design even more personal.
The reverse can be engraved with a name or personalisation of up to 10 characters.
A meaningful gift for golfers, whether for a birthday, retirement, anniversary or simply because the fingerprint itself means something special.

What Happens After You Order
What Happens After You Order
For UK Customers:
-
Taking Fingerprints Yourself:
If you request instructions for taking prints yourself, we will send you an inkpad and paper kit within one working day of placing your order. You can then send us back your fingerprints either by scanning them as a high-resolution JPEG and emailing them to us or sending them to us through the post using our prepaid envelope. Alternatively, if you want to take your prints yourself at home without a kit, you can use a soft pencil, clear Sellotape, and white paper, which allows us to receive your prints quicker. To see how easy it is, please see the full instructions. -
Professional Fingerprint-Taking:
For those who prefer a professional touch, we offer an appointment service for taking fingerprints. This ensures high-quality prints with minimal hassle. Appointments are available at two locations with different availability times. After placing your order, you will receive an invite to book an appointment for professional fingerprint-taking. This option is ideal for ensuring precision and clarity, especially for important keepsakes. -
Reuse Prints:
If you have previously ordered from us, you can reuse the prints we have on file.

How We Use Your Fingerprints:
Once we receive your fingerprints, we normally work with the central, most defined ‘whorly’ section of the print, as this is the area that carries the clearest and most characteristic detail for making into jewellery. If you would like us to use the full fingerprint, or if there is a particular area of the print you’d prefer us to focus on, please let us know when placing your order.

Priority Service
Priority Service
Each Morgan & French piece is handcrafted to order with exceptional care. We begin creating your jewellery once we have received everything we need, from your personalisation details to any required materials.
We understand that some customers may wish to receive their order sooner, so we offer the option to bring your piece forward in your maker’s schedule. These choices affect when your jewellery is created, never the skill or attention devoted to it.
Priority 1 – Express Creation
When time matters, your piece is scheduled for immediate bench work with your maker, crafted ahead of their usual making order. This typically brings completion forward by around three to five days, giving you a noticeably earlier finish for special gifts, meaningful moments and occasions where you simply need your jewellery sooner.
This premium service adds a 40% uplift to the base price of your piece (excluding any optional add-ons), so you’re never charged extra for choosing to include additional details or elements. It is available on selected designs each day.
Standard Service – Made in Turn
Your jewellery is handcrafted with the same care and attention, created in the natural rhythm of your maker’s schedule once everything required is in place. The same skill, the same devotion - simply made in turn.
Care Guide
Care Guide
We want your jewellery to look beautiful for years to come. We recommend regular, gentle cleaning with a jeweller’s cloth suitable for your jewellery’s metal and finish. Follow the cloth’s instructions and use it only on suitable metal surfaces, avoiding leather and cord.
Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish. This is a natural process, but substances encountered in daily life can speed it up, including soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and the natural oils on our hands. Always remove your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming, as contact with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine can affect its finish.
To help protect against tarnish, we offer a Rhodium Anti-Tarnish Plating Service that you can add to your order. This protective finish helps your cherished pieces retain their lustre and shine for longer.
Keep leather and cord dry. Moisture can damage the material and weaken the bond securing it within the clasp, affecting its strength and appearance. Remove leather and cord jewellery before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
Leather may transfer colour, particularly when wet or damp. This can stain skin, clothing, bedding and upholstery, especially light-coloured fabrics. If leather becomes wet, remove the jewellery and allow it to dry naturally, keeping it away from fabrics while it dries. The same care applies to leather pouches and keyring holders.
As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when it arrives and let us know as soon as possible if it is damaged or faulty.
We provide a six-month guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials. This additional guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear.
Your statutory rights are unaffected and are not limited to the six-month guarantee period.
