The Heirloom Fingerprint and Dog Nose Print Story Bracelet brings two distinct prints together in a single Heirloom Story Bead. Crafted using a fingerprint and a high-quality photo of your dog’s nose, we select the most distinctive whorled section of the fingerprint and repeat it around the bead, alongside the natural textures and markings of the nose. Both are engraved into silver with depth and clarity. A polished gap is always left on the bead and can be engraved with an initial, finished on either a blackened or silver background.
Part of our Story Bracelet collection, this piece is designed to be worn and built upon over time. Paired with a leather double wrap bracelet, it can stand on its own or be added to with further Story Beads as your story grows. Ordering Process
To create your personalised jewellery, we need a clear, high-quality image of the print used for your piece. This may be a dog’s nose print or a human fingerprint, depending on the product you’ve chosen.
Taking a Dog’s Nose Print Photo
We work directly from a photograph of your dog’s nose, so image quality really matters.

Take the photo in natural light to bring out the fine texture and detail.

Make sure the entire nose is visible, centred, and in sharp focus. Avoid shadows, glare, or blur.

Use a high-resolution camera. A smartphone is absolutely fine as long as it’s set to its highest quality.
Once you have the perfect shot, simply email it to us at studio@morganandfrench.com as a high-resolution JPEG. You can refer to the product images above to see the photo used for the product pictured.
Taking Fingerprints
Fingerprints can be taken either at home or professionally, depending on your preference and location.
If you choose to take prints yourself, you can use an inkpad and paper, or a soft pencil, clear Sellotape, and white paper. This method works well and is often the quickest option. If you’re in the UK and request it, we can send you an inkpad and paper kit within one working day of placing your order. Completed prints can be scanned as a high-resolution JPEG and emailed to us, or returned by post using the prepaid envelope included with the kit.
For those who want a professional finish, we also offer a fingerprint appointment service. After placing your order, you’ll receive an invitation to book an appointment at one of our locations. This option ensures excellent clarity and consistency, which can be especially reassuring for important keepsakes.
If you’re ordering from outside the UK, fingerprints will need to be taken by you and emailed to us as a high-resolution JPEG.
If you’ve ordered from us before, we’re happy to reuse prints we already have on file.

Ordering the right bracelet size is simple!
Use a soft measuring tape or wrap a piece of string or paper around your wrist bone—comfortably snug, with no gaps or squeezing. Mark the spot where it overlaps, then measure against a ruler to find your wrist size.
Just tell us your exact wrist measurement—we'll automatically add the right amount of length for comfort, depending on your fit preference:
- Close fit: sits neatly around the wrist, adding just enough room (+1.5cm)
- Standard fit: slightly looser for daily comfort (+2cm) (most popular)
- Relaxed fit: extra space for a casual, relaxed feel (+2.5cm)

Silver and other metals are prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly.
To combat this, we are proud to offer an anti-tarnish service that you can easily add to your order. Our Rhodium Anti-Tarnish Plating Service ensures your cherished pieces retain their lustre and shine for as long as possible.
We recommend that you use a good quality jeweller's cloth regularly as part of your jewellery cleaning routine. You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming as metals can react with shampoo, chemicals and chlorine.
Never allow leather to get wet. Wet leather will stay damp inside and deteriorate from within, this will loosen the bond within the clasp and affect the strength and look of the leather.
As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be opened, damaged or broken if not treated with care. Please check your jewellery carefully when you receive it and contact us within 7 days if it is delivered faulty or damaged. Your jewellery is fully guaranteed for 6 months against faulty workmanship or materials - although this does not cover accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear.
