Our Silver Entwined Hearts Print Necklace brings two fingerprints together in one connected design.
Each heart can carry a fingerprint taken on paper using an ink pad or one of our fingerprint ink strips, allowing you to combine two special prints in one necklace. If you would like to include your dog too, one or both hearts can instead feature a dog nose print created from a clear photograph.
The two hearts overlap and entwine at the centre, creating a sense of connection while allowing each print to keep its own character.
The necklace is suspended from either side with small gold vermeil rivets and finished with a sterling silver belcher chain, adding a subtle contrast and movement.
Each necklace is individually handmade in our Stamford workshop using the prints you provide.
What Happens After You Order
To create your personalised jewellery, we need a clear, high-quality image of the print used for your piece. This may be a dog’s nose print, a human fingerprint, or both, depending on the product you’ve chosen.
Taking a Dog’s Nose Print Photo
We work directly from a photograph of your dog’s nose, so image quality really matters.
-
Take the photo in natural light to bring out the fine texture and detail.
-
Make sure the entire nose is visible, centred, and in sharp focus. Avoid shadows, glare, or blur.
-
Use a high-resolution camera. A smartphone is absolutely fine as long as it’s set to its highest quality.
Once you have the perfect shot, simply email it to us at studio@morganandfrench.com as a high-resolution JPEG. You can refer to the product images above to see the photo used for the product pictured.
Taking Fingerprints
Fingerprints can be taken either at home or professionally, depending on your preference and location.
If you choose to take prints yourself, you can use an inkpad and paper, or a soft pencil, clear Sellotape, and white paper. This method works well and is often the quickest option. If you’re in the UK and request it, we can send you an inkpad and paper kit within one working day of placing your order. Completed prints can be scanned as a high-resolution JPEG and emailed to us, or returned by post using the prepaid envelope included with the kit.
For those who want a professional finish, we also offer a fingerprint appointment service. After placing your order, you’ll receive an invitation to book an appointment at one of our locations. This option ensures excellent clarity and consistency, which can be especially reassuring for important keepsakes.
If you’re ordering from outside the UK, fingerprints will need to be taken by you and emailed to us as a high-resolution JPEG.
If you’ve ordered from us before, we’re happy to reuse prints we already have on file.
How We Use Your Fingerprints
When creating fingerprint jewellery, we usually work with the central, most defined whorled section of the print, as this area carries the strongest and most distinctive detail. If you’d prefer the full fingerprint to be used, or want us to focus on a specific area, just let us know when placing your order.

Priority Service
Each Morgan & French piece is handcrafted to order with exceptional care. We begin creating your jewellery once we have received everything we need, from your personalisation details to any required materials.
We understand that some customers may wish to receive their order sooner, so we offer the option to bring your piece forward in your maker’s schedule. These choices affect when your jewellery is created, never the skill or attention devoted to it.
Priority 1 – Express Creation
When time matters, your piece is scheduled for immediate bench work with your maker, crafted ahead of their usual making order. This typically brings completion forward by around three to five days, giving you a noticeably earlier finish for special gifts, meaningful moments and occasions where you simply need your jewellery sooner.
This premium service adds a 40% uplift to the base price of your piece (excluding any optional add-ons), so you’re never charged extra for choosing to include additional details or elements. It is available on selected designs each day.
Standard Service – Made in Turn
Your jewellery is handcrafted with the same care and attention, created in the natural rhythm of your maker’s schedule once everything required is in place. The same skill, the same devotion - simply made in turn.
