There are two ways we can create your dog nose print jewellery, depending on whether you are able to take an impression or need us to work from a photograph.
Snozza jewellery — made from an impression
Snozza jewellery begins with a life-size impression that you and your dog create together using one of our Snozza Impression Kits.
The impression captures the natural surface texture of your dog's nose, including the tiny ridges, lines and patterns that make it completely unique.
We then use the impression to create your chosen piece of jewellery, selecting the area of the nose that works best for the size and shape of the design.
Because we work from a physical impression rather than an image, Snozza pieces preserve the natural texture of your dog's nose in a beautifully tactile way.
Snozza designs can only be made using one of our Snozza Impression Kits.
Photo-based dog nose print jewellery
When taking an impression isn't possible, we can create dog nose print jewellery from a clear photograph instead.
This is particularly valuable when your dog is no longer with you, or when taking an impression simply isn't practical.
We work from the detailed pattern on the upper surface of the nose and carefully translate that texture into your chosen jewellery design.

Choosing a photograph
For photo-based designs, the texture on the top of your dog's nose needs to be sharp and clear enough for us to see when the photograph is enlarged.
The nostrils themselves do not need to be visible — it is the unique pattern above them that we work from.
Photographs that work well
- Sharp, well-focused images where the nose texture is clearly visible.
- Natural, even lighting without strong shadows.
- More than one photograph, so we can choose the image with the best detail.
Try to avoid
- Blurred or low-resolution photographs.
- Heavy shadows across the nose.
- Strong reflections from a wet or shiny nose that obscure the texture.

What happens if the nose detail isn't clear enough?

If the detail isn't suitable, we'll contact you first and talk through the best option rather than starting work with a print that won't give a beautiful result.
Can I use one nose print for several pieces?
Yes. Once we have a suitable impression or photograph, the same nose detail can often be used to create several pieces, making it ideal for family keepsakes.
Is the jewellery solid silver?
Most pieces are handcrafted in solid sterling silver, with selected designs also available in gold vermeil. The exact material is shown on each individual product page.
